
Salman Ravala
General Biography
Growing up in one metropolitan trading center of the world – Karachi – to now practicing law in another metropolitan center of the world – New York, Salman Ravala has extensive cultural and professional experience that allows him to see things from a different and more creative perspective. That is precisely what makes him an outstanding mediator.
Before Salman began his mediation career, he practiced law in New York and served as counsel to both Plaintiffs and Defendants in New York state, federal, and appellate courts, as well as, in mediation and arbitration forums across the United States and globally.
A well-respected neutral, Salman serves as an arbitrator, mediator, and Special Master on various ADR rosters including American Arbitration Association (AAA), FINRA, NYS Part 137 Fee Dispute Panel, NYS Commercial Division, NYS Appellate Division, CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals, and U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Southern District of New York.
A strategic adviser, Salman represents governments, multi-national corporations, non-profits, start-ups, entrepreneurs, executives, founders, and companies through their entire business lifecycle, including formation, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiation, employer-employee relations, and intellectual property rights. Leveraging legal expertise and business acumen to drive client objectives and business growth, he negotiates strategically and thinks creatively to resolve problems and mitigate risks. Developing trust across teams, including senior staff, upper management, executives, board of directors, trustees, opposing and outside counsel, Salman provides in-depth strategic counseling and unmatched client-centered legal support combined with business and entrepreneurial consulting.
A frequent speaker and writer on the topics of ADR, Commercial Litigation, and International Law, he serves in numerous leadership roles with various local and national bar associations and community organizations, including serving as Life Fellow of The New York Bar Foundation and member of the Board of Trustees of Scholarship America – the largest student support non-profit organization in the United States. Salman is an Adjunct Professor of Law at New York Law School and his non-profit and community work focuses on access to justice and access to education initiatives in the United States and globally.

Rate
- $495/hr or $2500 per day (split equally between parties unless agreed otherwise)
