From 2017-2019, I worked at Memorial Healthcare System, serving underserved communities with at-home family therapy for children suffering from behavioral issues and mental health issues at school/home. I then went on to work for two faith-based private schools, providing school counseling, and mental health training/workshops for the teachers and students. I moved to New Jersey and worked for a private practice providing individual therapy for adolescents and adults. Eventually, I opened up my own private practice and currently serve the community through individual, couples, and family therapy. Currently working on becoming Gottman certified therapist through the Gottman Institute of Marriage and Family Therapy.

Heavily involved in community service from 2010-2018 including:

Ameerah (female lead) of Almaghrib Institute South Florida Chapter (Qabeelat Safaa) – organized and managed several classes, finances, fundraising, marketing/advertisement, workshops, and trainings. Attended workshops in Texas hosted by Qalam Institute for Public Speaking and community service. Held several Mental Health workshops at different masjids including a series of stress management workshops, Prophetic healing tied to Mental health, and a teenage depression awareness workshop. Created a Mental Health curriculum and taught a mental health class weekly at two Islamic private schools for middle and high school students.
